Welcome to Grimsby

Grimsby is a seaport on the river Humber in Lincolnshire in the north of England, United Kingdom. According to legend, Grimsby was first founded by Grim, a Dane. 'By' means 'village' in Old Norse and 'city' or 'town' in the modern Danish language.
It is called "Great Grimsby" to distinguish it from Little Grimsby, a village about 14 miles (22 km) to the south, near Louth.
